The Davis and Elkins men’s golf team sits in fourth place and just four strokes off the lead after day one of the Mountain East Conference Spring Classic held at Edgewood Country Club.

D&E’s Matin Eisa is tied for fifth at even par (71). Jack Coleman and Leonardo Turra (competing as an individual) are tied for tenth at 73 (+2) after the first round.

The two rounds from the MEC Spring Classic and the three rounds from the MEC Golf Championship back in the fall (Oct. 3-5) will be used to calculate the all-conference teams and postseason award winners for 2022-23 men’s golf.
