Ahead of the start of the 2026 legislative session, Gil White, State Director for NFIB West Virginia, has called on lawmakers to focus on policies that support economic growth and benefit small businesses across the state.

White said, “Small businesses throughout West Virginia continue to manage economic challenges, and it’s important that lawmakers focus on policies that will grow and ignite our economy this legislative session. We applaud Governor Patrick Morrisey’s commitment to our state’s small businesses, and we look forward to working with him and members of the Legislature on improving the business climate for our members in the state.”
