Clarksburg home prices rise in the second quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2019 in Clarksburg rose by $13,500 while total sales increased by 10.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2019, there were 52 homes sold, with a median sale price of $455,500 - a 3.1% increase over the $442,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 47 homes sold in Clarksburg in the second quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Clarksburg for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $5,138, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2019.
