Cross Country Teams Post Strong Showing at Go Fast River Run

Both Senator cross country programs raced strong among an elite group at the 13th Annual Go Fast River Run hosted by Lock Haven University.

With 16 teams from three NCAA regions and five states (Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, Ohio, New York) in attendance, multiple regional ranked and one nationally ranked, it was a very high-caliber meet to end the regular season.

The D&E men finished second overall as a team with Emeric Arnaud leading the way with a 4th place overall individual finish covering the 8K in 24:34. Arnaud now holds the fastest and third fastest times in program history.

The women finished fifth overall and the result should return the women into the Atlantic Regional rankings. Anya Miller covered the 6K distance in 22:45 to finish 18th overall to lead the way.

Up Next

The teams now head into championship season with the MEC Championships at the Olgebay Resort on November 5th and Atlantic Regional Championships on November 19th.
