The West Virginia University volleyball team fell to TCU in five sets at the WVU Coliseum in Morgantown on Wednesday, Nov. 16.
Fifth-year senior outside hitter Adrian Ell notched her fourth triple-double of the campaign. The Cincinnati, Ohio, native tallied 14 kills, 22 assists and 13 digs. She led the squad in kills and assists for the match.
Junior libero Skye Stokes earned 20 digs to top the Mountaineers. She paces WVU on the campaign with 356 digs.
Sophomore outside hitter Brenna Tietz and freshman middle blocker Tierney Jackson each served the second service ace of their collegiate careers. They also added four blocks apiece.
The Mountaineers (7-20, 0-14 Big 12) fell to the Horned Frogs (14-10, 9-5 Big 12) after taking sets two and four. WVU fought hard in every set but ultimately fell to TCU in five.
Additionally, West Virginia notched 51 kills and 66 digs to lead the match.
The squad returns to action on Saturday, Nov. 19, when it travels to Lubbock, Texas, to face off against Big 12 Conference foe Texas Tech at the United Supermarkets Arena. First serve is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET. Live streaming and live stats for the match can be found on WVUSports.com.
