Sports Performance Coach

Job Summary:

The Bridge Sports Complex is seeking qualified individuals for the position of part-time Sports Performance Coach. This position is responsible for aiding in creating and implementing an athlete focused, sport-specific program that includes both private and team training, specialty camps, and clinics. Candidates must be able and willing to work with athletes of various ages, and work with individuals within sport programs and other health professionals to ensure a collaborative and well-considered approach to athlete training.

The required qualifications and experience include but is not limited to first aid/CPR/AED certification and accredited certifications (CSCS, NASM, ACE, ISSA, ACSM etc.). Two (2) years of experience training athletes is preferred. Familiarity with testing and tracking athletic performance data is encouraged.

Fitness Front Desk Attendant

Job Summary:

Fitness Attendants are responsible for providing a clean and safe atmosphere in the fitness area of The Bridge. Friendly and outgoing, the Fitness Attendant should have a general knowledge of and/or interest in fitness and be customer service driven. This person will have knowledge of all fitness floor policies and be able to communicate to a diverse group of patrons why the policies are in place.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Greet and check-in all Fitness Center members.

2. Monitor all activities within the Fitness Center.

3. Provide daily care and cleaning of all equipment.

4. Enforce all Fitness Center policies and procedures consistently.

5. Assist all members in a safe and helpful manner on basic use of equipment and

interpretation of Fitness Center policies.

6. Communicate regularly with the management of the Fitness Center and provide additional

assistance when requested.

Candidates must be at least 16 years of age. Must be willing to obtain and maintain current CPR, AED, First aid credentials. Candidates must demonstrate strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, possess effective time management skills, and work flexible shifts around school and sports.

Personal Trainer

Job Summary:

Personal trainers are responsible for providing safe and effective fitness programming in one-on-one and small group settings. Individuals holding this position must evaluate and assess client needs/goals, then document program implementation and results. This person must be able to instruct clients on exercise physiology from basic to advanced. This person will have knowledge of all fitness floor policies and be able to communicate to a diverse group of patrons why the policies are in place.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Work with clients on defining and setting their health/fitness goals.

2. Provide and track proper physical assessments and evaluations.

3. Create, implement, and document one-on-one or small group sessions.

4. Provide fitness education and advice to facility members.

5. Embody and display world-class customer service.

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. College degree in health, fitness, or recreation-related field preferred. Obtain and keep current nationally accredited certification at time of hire. Obtain and maintain current CPR, AED, First Aid credentials at the time of hire. Demonstrate strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Possess the ability to demonstrate complex fitness maneuvers and work with a health-diverse population.
