2022: Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College charges some of the lowest tuition rates and fees for in-West Virginia students

Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College cost $4,344 in tuition and fees for students studying in-state, according to the latest disclosure from the National Center for Education Statistics.

This ranks Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College as one of the five cheapest schools in West Virginia in 2022.

The amount paid per in-state students in tuition and fees was $260 more than the previous year.

Out-of-state students attending Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College in 2022 were expected to pay $6,864, which is $394 more than the previous year.

The average cost of college has more than doubled in the 21st century, growing by more than 7% every year. In-state students can expect to spend nearly $10,000 on tuition alone per year at a public, 4-year post-secondary school.Meanwhile, out-of-state tuitions averages $27,457.
