Upshur County Tire Amnesty Day, scheduled for October 15, 2022, is sponsored by WV Department of Environmental Protection (REAP) and the City of Buckhannon.  The event will be held at 395 Mud Lick Rd. Buckhannon, WV 26201 (across from the City of Buckhannon Transfer Station) and the hours of operation will be from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm that day.

Guidelines:

  • Only tires from state residents will be accepted. Please have your WV ID ready when you sign in.
  • There is a ten-tire limit per person that will be strictly enforced.
  • Tires must be off the rim.
  • We only accept tires from cars or light trucks.

Please do not arrive before 8:45 am, as this would cause unnecessary traffic issues.
