We’re Hiring!  Open Position: ACCOUNTANT

The Beckley Sanitary Board is seeking a candidate for the position of Accountant.  Job responsibilities will include performing all accounting and financial reporting functions of the board, overseeing integrity of billing system, preparation of financial statements, audit documentation, publication of reports to various regulatory agencies.  Background and experience with GASB standards and generally accepted governmental auditing and reporting standards preferred.   

Position requires bachelor’s degree in accounting and 3-5 years’ work experience in accounting field.  Candidate should have proficiency in general ledger accounting functions, preparation of interim and year-end financial statements, ability to manage automated billing system and accounting software.
