Davis & Elkins continued their offensive dominance as they defeated West Liberty 7-1 at Nuttall Field.
Getting off to an early start, senior David Jara netted his second goal of the season in minute twelve, assisted by Christian Carranza.
Two minutes later, senior Christhian Bosquez found the net for his thirteenth goal this season with an assist from Martin Lago.
The final goal of the first half was contributed by Senior Soshi Fujioka, his third of the season off an assist from Manuel Castrejon, putting the Senators up 3-0.
In the second half, D&E continued their offensive onslaught. Junior Davide Materazzi scored his fifth of the season in minute fifty-one with help from Sophomore Dominique Castano, his first of two assists this game.
Netting the fifth and sixth goals of the game was Freshman Mattia Bui, his first 2 career goals in the fifty-fifth and seventy-seventh minute, assisted by Soshi Fujioka and Dominique Castano respectively.
The Senators led 6-0 until West Liberty was able to avoid a shutout, scoring on a corner kick in the seventy-eighth minute.
Putting a punctuation mark on the victory, Manuel Castrejon scored the seventh and final goal for the Senators in the eighty-fifth minute, assisted by Christhian Bosquez.
With the win, D&E moves to 14-2-0 overall and 13-2-0 in the Mountain East Conference.
The Senators wrap up regular season play at home this Sunday, October 30 for senior night against West Virginia Wesleyan at 7pm.
