I wanted to take the opportunity to respond to some misinformation related to the upcoming Little League season in Alderson.
Little League sign up for ALL AGES is this Saturday from 11a-1p at the town park IN ALDERSON.
If you are unable to attend in person, you may go online to www.centralgreenbrierlittleleague.comand sign up anytime.
Teams are not being signed up to go to Lewisburg to play. If there are enough interested children, there will be that aged team here in town.
We NEED ALL of the same people as in the past to coach, volunteer, umpire, and run concessions stand. NO ONE is being turned away because of teams not being here. Both of those statements were untrue.
The Central Greenbrier merger means that they will be managing the league. Otherwise, nothing has changed.
Get your kids out to sign up, volunteer if you want, be a parent and do your part to work the concession stand and let’s have the best year ever.
