The John Manchin Sr. Health Care Center in Fairmont, West Virginia, has received a four-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). This rating reflects assessments in health inspections, quality measures, and staffing, as well as the individualized attention patients receive from nursing staff. A four-star rating is classified as "above average" according to CMS standards.

Nicole Anderson, Nursing Home Administrator at the facility, acknowledged the collective efforts of the team in achieving this recognition. She highlighted the nursing team's commitment to patient care: “Without this teamwork, we would not have the opportunity to receive this recognition. I am incredibly humbled by the work that our team puts in day in and day out to make sure patients have the best experience possible,” said Anderson.

The center provides intermediate nursing care along with inpatient and outpatient clinical services. It currently has additional beds available for new admissions. For admission inquiries, interested parties can contact social services at 304-363-2500 extension 107.
