The West Virginia Department of Health Facilities has announced that Jackie Withrow Hospital in Beckley, West Virginia, has received a four-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The CMS ratings evaluate health inspections, quality measures, staffing, and the level of individualized attention patients receive from nursing staff. A four-star rating is considered "above average" by CMS standards.

Aimee Bragg, Nursing Home Administrator at Jackie Withrow Hospital, attributed the achievement to the dedication of the hospital team. "They care for these patients like they would their own families and these scores are a testament to that hard work," she stated. She further emphasized the importance of teamwork in achieving such recognition: "Without this teamwork, we would not have the opportunity to receive this recognition. I am incredibly humbled by the work that our team puts in day in and day out to make sure patients have the best experience possible."

Jackie Withrow Hospital provides long-term care nursing home placement for Medicaid-eligible residents of West Virginia who qualify. These residents often have chronic physical and mental health conditions. The hospital aims to offer a safe and healthy living environment by addressing the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs of all residents efficiently.
