Following Governor Patrick Morrisey's State of the State address, NFIB West Virginia State Director Gil White expressed approval of the governor's commitment to enhancing the small business economy.

"West Virginia small business owners welcome Governor Morrisey’s plans to strengthen the economy and make our government more efficient," White stated. He highlighted that small businesses across the state are facing economic challenges such as rising business expenses and a persistent worker shortage.
