U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito of West Virginia has expressed her support following the confirmation of Kelly Loeffler as the new Administrator for the Small Business Administration (SBA). The confirmation took place with a Senate vote tallying 52 in favor and 46 against.
Senator Capito released a statement highlighting Loeffler's qualifications: "As a proven job creator, a successful entrepreneur, and champion for the small business community, Kelly Loeffler is well suited to lead the Small Business Administration." She added that having worked alongside Loeffler in the Senate, she is confident that under her leadership, coupled with collaboration from President Trump, there will be positive outcomes for Main Streets across America.
Capito further emphasized her eagerness to collaborate with Loeffler to ensure that entrepreneurs and small businesses in West Virginia have access to essential resources for success.
