A West Virginia software engineer said he personally discovered irregularities in Georgia in the general election last month.

David Gore, a software engineer from Logan, W.Va., said in the previous presidential election he posted an analysis on Facebook so he chose to do that again this year.

“So crunching data is something that I do every day of my life,” Gore said to NTD News. “In 2016, prior to the election and purely for fun, I posted an analysis to Facebook with my predictions on how each state would vote. And I surprised myself by accurately calling every state except for Nevada.”

Gore said he decided to again analyze the data.

“So this year, I repeated my analysis and I was determined to predict the outcome in all 50 states,” Gore said. “And up until late on election night, I had nailed every single state. When I woke up the next morning, I was surprised to find that things had drastically changed primarily in Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Michigan.”

Gore said he was curious to figure out what he had done wrong.

“So, I started looking into the results,” Gore said. “Georgia’s Secretary of State’s website had been posting absentee voting online, so I downloaded the latest data set. And, since I happened to have an earlier set of the absentee data that I had downloaded on election day, the very first thing that I did was compare the two sets to see if any of the votes had been deleted.”

Gore said he was surprised to discover that 597 votes had been deleted. He said since they were listed by name and phone number on the data, he looked them up on Facebook.

Gore said he discovered an alarming trend with these individuals — they had all experienced being told they couldn't vote because they were marked as having already voted and were only allowed to vote after they waited hours and jumped through hoops.

Gore said there were also 19 people who had the same voter registration number that had voted twice. He also looked into those who had died. He said there were 2,323 ballots from deceased voters, 387 of which were accepted and counted.

“If I can discover all of this from my home a thousand miles away, then there is absolutely no question there are thousands upon thousands more instances that haven’t been uncovered,” Gore said.

Gore said at the very least, the people of Georgia need a signature verification of the ballots, otherwise no one will ever trust another election.
