Fairmont State University Performing and Community Arts to present Falcon Day of Giving concert October 26

Fairmont State University Performing and Community Arts presents Doing What We Do Best on Wednesday, October 26. Doing What We Do Best is a free, one-night-only concert kick-off to the Falcon Day of Giving. The concert features showstopping performances from all areas of Fairmont State's Community Arts program.

Doing What We Do Best will showcase pieces from The Fairmont State University Academy for the Arts Youth Theatre Company, Fairmont State Town and Gown Players, and Masquers student theatre organization. Also performing will be the Fairmont State Marching Band and Fairmont State's Collegiate Singers.

"We are excited to announce such an exciting kick-off event for this year's Falcon Day of Giving." Says Leigh Anne Riley, Director of Performing Arts Outreach and Development. "This concert showcases all the talent and hard work that makes up Community Arts at Fairmont State. Doing What We Do Best is a chance for our community to join us for a free one-night-only performance to get a taste of what we do best here in Community Arts. We are grateful to our donors for making community arts and enrichment opportunities possible at Fairmont State. This concert is not only a way to showcase the talent of our students, staff, and faculty but to say thank you to the community."

Tickets for Doing What We Do Best are free, and donations are appreciated. Join us for an evening of live entertainment at Fairmont State. Doing What We Do Best will be performed in the Wallman Hall Theatre on the campus of Fairmont State on October 26 at 7:00 PM.
